New York City’s Arch Ballet is the brainchild of choreographer Sheena Annalise, of Beach Haven Crest. And this month, Annalise will bring the group to the LBI Foundation of the Arts and Sciences for a one-week residency, from April 26 to May 1, concluding with virtual and live benefit performances.

“Arch Ballet will be in residency … creating new contemporary choreography in our gallery,” the Foundation explained. “LBIF will open exclusively on the afternoon of Saturday, May 1, for the culmination of the residency. The ticketed event will feature two one-hour-long benefit performances,” from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and from 3 to 4 p.m.

The events can be viewed either in person or virtually for $10 per person per performance. Tickets are on sale via the LBIF website, lbifoundation.org.

The Foundation asks that tickets be purchased online as seating inside will be limited to 36 seats for each of the two performances. Masks are required to attend.

In addition, said LBIF, “You can catch Arch Ballet rehearsing in process throughout the week during our regular business hours, Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.”

Don’t miss Arch Ballet’s innovative concepts of a groundbreaking mix of music, from electronic to neoclassical, and diverse, world-class dancers. Arch Ballet is ballet reimagined, reinvented and redefined.  —J.K.-H.
