Arch Ballet presents an evening of bold contemporary dances choreographed by Sheena Annalise on Thursday, July 11 at 7:00 pm

taking place at the Abrons Art Center Playhouse Theatre as part of the @Abrons Series Program.

PERFORMANCE

The evening opens with Château, a dance of poisonous intrigue accompanied by a rich neoclassical score for a string quartet.

Layers of lush fabric portray the dark intricate architecture of Château de Fontainebleau.

In contrast, vibrant color and electronic dance music energize our second piece, Pointe in Motion.

Choreography inspired by the fluidity of thought, set against an ink-in-water backdrop, blend together into a visually stunning performance.

An imaginative World Premiere closes the evening on a grand scale. Glass tutus and chromatic costumes

dance to a modern orchestral score beneath a luminescent art installation, transporting the audience to an electric realm of possibility.
